COVID-19 pandemic update
We are here to help customers through financial impacts the COVID-19 pandemic may incur. We are suspending service disconnections until further notice. While payments are still required, we will be working with customers on a case-by-case basis to establish any needed payment arrangements. If you’re planning to build a new residence, add to an existing building, need a utility pole installed or relocated, or have other significant requests concerning your electric service, see the links below for important guidelines, request forms and a project tracking web portal. Requests for new service lines on new construction sites must be reviewed and approved by El Paso Electric before service can be started.

If you require a new or additional line extension, call (915) 351-4224 in Texas or (575) 523-3630 in
New Mexico. To initiate service, please call (915) 521-4646 in Texas or (575) 523-3573 in New Mexico.
